Mt Baw Baw’s downhill mountain bike track is regularly used to host major events and is available for use during the summer season.
The starting platform is located along side Currawong drive in the Baw Baw village and roughly follows the old chairlift run heading towards the lower left corner of the map above.
A large table top jump is followed by log drops, berms, boulder sections, rollovers, jumps and challenging downhill ramps. B-lines are available for less experienced riders. The trail provides a 300 metre elevation change over the run.
The track is open during the summer, seven days a week (excluding major event weekends) from the end of November until late April each year. A $10 trail access fee is payable at the Adventure Hub to use the trail.
A shuttle service from the bottom of the run back to the village runs regularly from 10am to 4pm most weekends with a break between 12-1pm from November to April. Shuttles can run on week days if there is a minimum 4 people.
Please note that on major event weekends the shuttle will not operate. Call ahead to see if the shuttle is operating on the weekend you are visiting on 03 5165 1136.
